Currently,
annual harvest levels are determined primarily by the demands of the production
facilities of the subsidiaries, which in turn are dimensioned according
to projected sales and the availability of forest resources.
The availability of annual timber harvest is determined by factors such
as variety, age of the plantation (rotation) and average DAP of the forest.
The demand of El Álamo is practically covered with an annual harvest
rate of around 32,000 M3 of poplar wood.
