Compañía Agrícola y Forestal El Alamo Ltda., forestry subsidiary of the FOSFOROS Holding, is the unquestionable worldwide leader of the poplar wood logs production, both either in quality as in volume enough to supply consumption of related industries, with the main purpose of manufacturing different matches sizes, ice cream sticks and paint paddles among others. Our plantations are 100% ecological and are certified by the FSC, worldwide most exigent quality and environmental entity.

Also, every season we produce in our own tree nursery about 3.500.000 units of poplar, pinus radiata and eucalyptus globulus plants of high quality for thirds sale.

By the other side and taking advantage of our lands patrimony, we do also offer to our clients agricultural products and fruits such as corns, apples and bilberries, among others. Due to our lands physical characteristics, it is possible to keep a rich natural meadowland which does allow to offer grazing service to nearby communities which at the same time helps to keep control over the undergrowth of weeds, to improve the fertility and reduce fires risk.
